(5) Fees Required for Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information We may ask the person requesting disclosure (confirmed to be the customer themselves) to bear the fees required for disclosure, etc. In such cases, we will clarify this in advance.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations regarding Personal Information Protection The Museum shall comply with applicable laws and regulations related to personal information protection regarding the personal information held by the Museum. Furthermore, this policy shall be judged in accordance with the laws of Japan and other norms. This policy defines the Museum’s basic policy regarding the handling of personal information, and the Museum shall strive to protect personal information based on laws and regulations such as the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) in accordance with this policy.
Management and Custody for Personal Information The Museum shall establish a management system and implement appropriate safety measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, leakage, etc., and to ensure accuracy and safety. We restrict the entry of outsiders into offices where personal information is handled, conduct educational and enlightenment activities for all officers and employees involved in our personal information protection, and appoint a manager to ensure the proper and strict safekeeping of personal information.
Continuous Improvement The Museum shall continuously review and improve its efforts toward personal information protection to respond to changes in applicable Japanese laws, handling methods, and the environment.
